Do you want to learn how to say Merry Christmas in other languages? Here in America, we say Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays, but there are many different ways of saying it in many different languages worldwide.

 

Ways to say Merry Christmas in a different language:

1. Feliz Navidad is Spanish for Merry Christmas. Navidad is celebrated in Spain between December 4th and January 6th every year.


2. Zalig Kerstfeest is Dutch for Merry Christmas. The Dutch celebrate on December 25th and 26th.

3. Joyeux Noël is French for Merry Christmas. The French celebrate on December 25th.

4. Frohe Weihnachten is German for Merry Christmas. The Germans celebrate it on the 25th and 26th of December.

5. Geseënde Kersfees is Afrikaans (South Africa) for Merry Christmas. Geseënde Kersfees is celebrated on December 25th.

6. Mele Kalikimaka is Hawaiian for Merry Christmas. Mele Kalikimaka is celebrated on December 25th.

7. Wesołych Swiat is Polish for Merry Christmas. Wesołych Swiat is celebrated on December 24th and 25th.

8. Selamat Natal is Indonesian for Merry Christmas. Selamat Natal is celebrated on December 25th.

Joey and Jinger celebrate Christmas on December 24th and December 25thOn December 24th, Joey and Jinger put out milk and cookies for Santa to eat. They also put carrots out for the reindeer. When Joey and Jinger are asleep, all snuggly in their beds, Santa arrives and leaves them presents under the tree. Santa also fills their stockings with goodies. On December 25th, which is Christmas day, Joey and Jinger celebrate Christ. Christ is the reason for the season!! Joey and Jinger open gifts and eat dinner with family and friends.
